3.4 Mapping + Midi Fighter = HARMONY?

I really want to buy the Midi Fighter but want to make sure the mappings work in harmony with each other. I can see the midi fighter as an additional controller to my VCI 100 SE. Are DJTT planning to write a mapping Specifically for the Midi fighter to work as an add on to the 3.4 mapping for the VCI 100?

I have had VCI 100 for 18 months and gig with it every week. I am really comfotable with it and want to expand my possibilities. I have seen the tutorials etc but not one with both controllers being used together for different functions.

Yes they work fine. It gives me cues 1-8 for all four decks. It lets me sample and do some beatslicing button mashing (see tutorial videos). It has some cool beatmasher/filter combos. But you can assign the midifighter to do whatever you want. I would like my midifighter with 4 faders on it so I could have better control over 4 decks.

btw .. if you do not yet own a vci 100 .. i would first get the vci 100 .. play with that and then when you have a better understanding where you want to go get the midi fighter. the vci 100 already offers a lot of flexibility when it comes to FX and cue point juggeling. more so than most DJ's need even .. so in the end you might find you want a different controller to complement the vci 100 once you had a chance to play around with it.

i dont see any need for a special mapping. the two compliment each other well ..
obviously the midi fighter gives you access to 8 hot cues at once where the vci only gives 1-4 or 5-8. beyond that the other 8 buttons offer some FX interaction which is distinct from what even the fader FX mode offers.

do they work well together? What extra does it give you?

Don't worry man I would still order one. Im using my midifighter with the V2 mapping of the VCI 100 SE until the V3 mapping becomes more stable. The bugs will be ironed out soon enough
