Maschine and DDM4000 midi conflicts

Full MIDI on the ddm4000

Maschine set to MIDI and hit auotwrite for cuepoints and fx

On maschine, when I turn some of the fx knobs it starts working other functions on the Traktor screen. It's like some of the midi command notes are the same on maschine and ddm4000. So when I turn #3 fx on the 2nd fx, it also slides the X-fander on the mixer on the screen it Traktor........ anybody have any ideas.... I'm guessing the commands are unchangeable and happen to be the same ...... no fix?

I don't own a Maschine, but it seems to me that the MIDI is running through the same channel. My fix would be to:

-Make sure the Maschine and the DDM400 are running through their respective in-ports and out-ports. I'm sure the Maschine has a designated in-port and out-port.

-Then you want to set the DDM4000 to a separate MIDI channel. This is done by holding down the center knob in the effects section on the controller, scrolling down to "MIDI Setup," selecting it, and then using the knob underneath what says "MIDI Channel" (I believe it's the left FX knob, the smaller one, not the dry/wet)
-Then you'll have to re-map all of the controls. I would recommend doing this under a SEPARATE "General MIDI" tab. (This can be done by clicking on the "Add" button and selecting "General MIDI")

-As for the DDM4000, make sure that its in-port and out-port is USB Cable or USB MIDI Cable (something along those line) It's just best to make sure information is being sent to their respective controllers. (meaning: non of your controllers should have their ports selected as "All Ports")

That should fix the problem as well as organize your entire MIDI setup with the exception of having leftover controls from your previous mapping. You can easily delete those individually. The main focus here is that the maps should be on separate tabs FOR EACH AND EVERY CONTROLLER, and that their in-ports and out-ports match up. I hope this helps.
