ddm4000 manually midi mapped - no leds
Posted on: 25.03.2010 by Griselda Marlon
I couldn't find a midi map that I liked for my ddm4000 so I mapped it myself... I mapped it 4-channel with full EQ.... but I couldn't figure how to make the leds light up...(EQ kills, headphone cues, ect.) Has anybody already figured that out?

I'm running:
DDm4000, Traktor Scratch Pro, Mac Book Pro, 2 DNS-1200's, Audio 8, Maschine
and believeing about getting TRAKTOR KONTROL X1

Full Midi on the ddm4000, DNS-1200, and Maschine (cue points)

There is no easy way to do this other than mapping the LEDs yourself, meaning, you have select each individual CC# for every output on the specified MIDI channel your DDM4000 is on. Your DDM4000 should have came with a paper that labels all of the MIDI send and MIDI receive CCs and notes.

In order to get LEDs, you need go into Traktor under your DDM4000 map and "add outs" to the controller and then using that paper to correspond which buttons you want to light up and then choosing that CC in Traktor manually (with a mouse).

Just a note, your PFL blue LED's wont' work unless those channel strips are manually muted on the DDM4000 hardware. Hope this helps.
