VCI-100 run on MIDI CHANNEL 2???
VCI-100 run on MIDI CHANNEL 2??? Posted on: 20.04.2010 by Ralph Finuf Hey Guys,I'm wondering if its possible to run the VCI 100 on MIDI Channel 2. I have a second controller that I'd like to use but it cannot send out on any other channel than one, which causes some interference with the VCI. I found a like that you used to be able to run the Vestax on Channel 2 with old traktor. In fact, it allowed you to run Two VCI's in tandem with each other, one operating on channel 1 while the other operated on two. Anyways, I just want to be able to get my VCI to run on the second channel. Any tips? | |

Perla Boysen 22.04.2010 | Dunno if this works with 1.3 FW, but 1.2 lets you switch VCI-100 to midi channel 2 by holding the top button of the 4 small buttons top left ("FX preset 1" on DJTT 3.5 mapping) while powering on VCI. Hope it helps |

Reece Murray 21.04.2010 | Yes. There are various midi translator apps you can try. For this purpose, something freeware will work. You basically want to tell it "any info from the VCI, route it to channel 2". Should be pretty straightforward, but I'm only familiar with the Mac apps. |
Ralph Finuf 20.04.2010 | Is there a separate program that will change it for me? |
