Unused Buttons - Suggestion What to Map Posted on: 07.05.2010 by Julissa Serrone I have VCI-100 and two X1's. Was using the X1's with a Xone 42, but have been using the VCI more a bit lately for use of the jogwheels. So now I have more buttons and knobs that I know what to do with. Makes it for some very easy workflows, and eliminates the use of many shift buttons or dual assgined buttons - but Im left with some buttons not used. Current set up. On the VCI I use the basics - Faders, jogs, eq's, play, sync, 3.5 one button effects. on the X1's I control each deck with a column/lane in the X1. So each deck has an FX bank, library scroll and load, hotcue buttons, loop knob, I also have fx load buttons, and for decks C&D one of the rotary knobs controls the volume for that deck. So my FX, Loops, Route FX section of my VCI goes untouched. Wondering what else I can use it for that would simplify things even more. | |
