please help with TP APC40 LED mapping
please help with TP APC40 LED mapping Posted on: 22.05.2010 by Ulrike Majerus Hi all, Ive searched the net an the community s trying to find my solution but alas cannot find it. I am trying to map on/off feedback to my APC 40 LEDs. Specifically i am trying to map eq kills to clip launch buttons. At the moment i have the kills assigned the clip launch matrix. The toggle of the kill works fine, but the LED feedback on the APC doesnt. Ive been able to get it to turn on momentarily green for off (no kill) and red for on (kill). but the LED doesnt stay on. When I turn it on/off using the software, the LEDs react and hold as I want them to. but when i actually use the clip launch buttons, they flash the required colour only when i press and dissapear whn i let go. Something i found strange was, if i pres them quickly they sometimes stay on the rquired colour. a quick upward bash reminiscent of a swipe more than a push gets them to feedback the correct status, but only sometimes....weird. I cant work out the modifiers for the life of me, and seeing as it seems to work (sort of) i dont see the need to bother with them. One thing i found wierd too is when i duplicate a comand from another action that has proper LED feedback, it doesnt give me the opertunity to manipulate the type of control, i have to create new ones. Whenm I duplicate the same control to try play with modifiers, I have to pretty much manually input the "mapped to" function using the drop downs etc. Whats the point of duplicate if all it duplicates is the "control" field. Guys, please help me step by step set up kills for the eq that has LED feedback for the APC40. This is all that missing from my set up before I can work straight from the APC without looking at the screen!... Thanks in advance and love the site. **********Resolved************ guys, thanks for all the "views" at least :P Issue is resolved....without modifiers! LEDs are now mapped and behaving appropriately. I can make them behave any which way I need on the clip launch matrix, just not on the track selector buttons. Think it has something to do with that these are cc msgs and not "keys". | |
