But something that should be added, is that the "recall" functionality via the Track Select buttons actually changes the midi channel all the knobs and buttons in the Device Control send on. So if on Track Control 1, Device Ctl sends on channel 1, If on Track Control 2, Device Ctrl is channel 2, etc. This is the so called "dumb mode". This is NOT the case when the APC is handshake connected to Ableton Live. In that case, the APC transmits/receives only on channel 1, regardless of Track Selection buttons. Live then handles all of the LED updates/communication. |
