Oxygen 25 (Oxygen 8 v3) fader problem
Oxygen 25 (Oxygen 8 v3) fader problem Posted on: 01.06.2010 by Mai Kalka Hello! For some time ago I bought a Oxygen 25, the first version with a fader. I'm currently using a slightly modified version of Ean Goldens Oxygen 8 v2-mapping and everything works perfect exept this: I'm trying to map the fader on my Oxy to the x-fader but for some reason does the beatmasher-knob and the fader have the same "value" (CC.007). Can i sign a new value to the fader or how should i do to make the fader work as a x-fader? PS. Sorry for my bad english! EDIT: Maybe I should say that I have read the official thread for Oxy-mappings without finding an answer even though someone has asked the same question as me over there... I'm hoping for some better luck by posting a new thread | |

Corine Kasman 01.06.2010 | Oops, my bad!! Its been a while since I was on the Oxy 25 (it show eh?) Glad you got it fixed, I'll just edit my post so that anyone else that finds it doesn't follow my bad instructions. LOL Phil |
Mai Kalka 01.06.2010 | Does'nt seem to help... I'm moving the fader and the display shows "07" as for CC.007. I then press Advanced and three dots are showing together with "07" I press the Prog-key (and the three dots is still showing) I then press a value (in this case 89) by hitting the keys and finishing by pressing the Enter-key. Advanced again and the Store-key. I can't see anything going wrong, but it just wont change the CC! Thanks anyway! EDIT: Problem solved! Instead of pressing Prog you should press CTRL ASGN. |
Corine Kasman 01.06.2010 | Programming CCs on the Oxy 25 is straight forward, however I would recommend that you NOT do it on preset 10 (the directlink preset). So from any other preset, start by moving the knob/fader you want to program, this will select it. Press Advanced then press the Ctrl Asgn key. Now the display should have three little dots on the bottom. Press the keys that correspond to your new CC value. Then press the Enter key. IMPORTANT - now press Advanced again, and this time press the Store key. Otherwise the CC will go back to the original when you power off the unit or change presets. Voila, finished! Easy? Don't worry about your English, it is perfectly clear. Let us know how it goes. Phil. |
