Phantom Mapping Issue
Posted on: 02.08.2010 by Lorene Boehler
I have a Numark Total Control and a MPD26 that I use for controllers in my DJ sets. My Total Control is mapped out fine, but the MPD26 is having weird phantom mappings. Even when I completely delete my MPD's mapping, three of the top pads will control the Deck A headphone cue, Deck A Cue Play, and Deck A Filter On. I have had to map my controller to never press those three buttons, but is there any way to remove the ghost mapping? Is it possible that the mapping from my Total Control is some how affecting my MPD26? Two separate mappings shouldn't overlay, right?
