Using stealth control and launchpad
Posted on: 18.08.2010 by Margo Emperador
Hey guys, I've been using a Numark stealth controller with traktor pro for some bedroom djing and just acquired a launchpad. How can I sync both of these units to work together? Any ideas.. I'm new to the community so I don't have any expertise in programming or mapping.. Any help would be appreciated..

thanks

I wouldn't use Automap w/ the launchpad. It really kinda limits you. Just setup a Midi device in the mappings for each controller, should work fine. If you want some more features, check out Midi Katapult

I'll give it a try and let u know shortly how it went.. I might have other questions but let me see how far I can take it on my own..

thanks again..

if i'm correct, the launchpad works with Automap. you can see what midi channel (1-16) that the stealth uses, then assign the input and output channel in Automap to any channel the Stealth does not use. then, create 2 general midi controllers in traktor, select the correct in's and outs for both, and you should be set to go!
