I need help on remapping VCI 100 (little mod)
Posted on: 24.09.2010 by Siu Krimmer
Hi guys.
Yesterday I upgraded my VCI 100 firmware to 1.4 with the matching TSI file good stuff.
Anyway I need help on just one thing. I woud like to remap My VCI 100 but only just one button. I dont use the scratch button which means I dont use the CDJ mode. I would like to use my scratch buttons as 'MASTER' buttons so that everytime I mix between tracks I don't have to reach for the mouse to master which track is mastering the BPM and that I can do everything from the VCI 100.

Can anybody help me out over here? Can anybody modify a TSI fie for me please? If sombody can help, I would like to modify the TSI for the 1.4 firmware. Not the brand new one that just was released. I prefer the first one that came out. The VCI-100SE v3.6 (FW 1.4 Compatible).tsi

Thanks

Simple click on the master clock icon on the top left of the screen and select 'auto' for deck master, then it will follow you automatically.
sometimes it's still useful to be able to manually switch master. i run auto mode, but my sync button has master as shift function.

@BradCee

Good idea. Keeping it simple without changing a full button

Last Night I got out of the club believeing about asking for the same thing. I was gonna fire it up an email but decided to right a post in the correct spot, maybe someone else would wanna do the same thing to. And then ...

BUM first threat I see is your. How cool is that. : )

So here is to wishes: I don't wanna get rid of anything on the mapping, BUT to add the MASTER to the deck when pressing SHIFT + SCRATCH buttons on the deck of choice A_B_C or D. (in focus). Hope that's Possible!

Also for the LOOP section on top.

Can we make it so the the ENDS move when Pressing SHIFT + TURNING the deck os choice knob as well?!

Now this is when in the loop scene I would really need not to mess with the effects scene. I like it the way it is.

Im Playing on a Club called the RumJungle and they like all kinds os music and this is a BIG HELP to have, as could make easier and more noticeble progression in tempo range.

Thank you. Keep Up The Good Work
