Either the dimensions on the store are not-quite-right, these are two different bags, or something else I haven't quite fathomed. In their ad copy, it's called the Controller Backpack: They also have a product called the Kontroller Bag, and the thing that one puts their X1/F1 in is called 'TRAKTOR KONTROL BAG' on the English version of NI's site, and 'Kontrol Travel Case' on the DJTT store. That very video also mentions some new Chroma Caps, which haven't been consistently described since (glow in the dark, light-reactive, LEDs in them, etc). About the time I was having trouble getting my Z2, I called up Native Instruments, who described the problem to me only as 'fehlerhafte industrielle Sto |

Nevada Edgette 15.01.2013 | Awesome. One more question though! Hows the clearance for the headphone jack in the front? I noticed that the Z2's input is close to the right edge. |

Leeanna Ayla 17.12.2012 | The only sizes I see for the Conterllist bag are for the inner sleeve, which are smaller than the bag itself. The Z2 definitely fits in the bag. |
Candy Vardy 17.12.2012 | Yes quite sure bud. In the video he even calls it the Controllerist bag, which he does mention is available in the store. (Link shown) There must be some kind of mix up in the specs on the product info page, as you can see quite clearly in the video, that it can fit the Z2 easily plus more.. |

Candy Vardy 16.12.2012 | The DJTT Controllerist Backpack will carry the Z2. There was a video recently with His Highness Ean and the bag. I believe he had the Z2 in there along with 2 MF3D's, 1 MFP, and X1 case, headphones etc. Highly recommended. https://store.djranking s.com/produc...erist-backpack |

Len Lukawski 11.12.2012 | Here is the (as promised) worst gypo video youtube has been forced to host in a while: |
Virgie Igler 10.12.2012 | I purchased a 10" Odyssey Mixer case, and it JUST fits into it. Kind of like a glove. I would be interested in using a Decksaver on my Z2 to transport in my Mono 360 bag though. Can anybody confirm whether a decksaver exists for the Z2? |

Len Lukawski 08.12.2012 | Z2 arrives today so I'll check the fit with the UDG. |
Ervin Calvery 04.12.2012 | Has anyone ever tried these? http://store.roadreadycases.com/dyn_prod.php?p=RR12BB It's like a little bridge for the mixer! The rack ear version is sort of cuter because everything seems to be the same height. I hope to bridge these: http://store.roadreadycases.com/dyn_...00HWS&k=113884 |

Thanks smittten! (I am a little worried about how you feel about the bag, though - keep it platonic. Don't let yourself get hurt. Take it slow.) |

Barton Rigazio 04.12.2012 | Yes, looks like UDG Creator will work, as it has inner dimensions of 420 mm x 325 mm x 165 mm. Let us know how you like the fit! |
Len Lukawski 04.12.2012 | I will be using my UDG Creator or as I like to call it: The Canvas Nuclear Bomb Proof Equipment Panic Room. I'll do a video when the my z2 arrives I should however point out one large problem with this bag. It allows you to pack in so much stuff that you quickly find yourself with a bag that you can barely carry. I put my should out last week. I had: 1 Xone K2 (in case) 1 Kontrol F1 (in neoprene case) 1 15.6" Samsung laptop 1 14" HP laptop 4 2.5" hard disks (in hard carry case) 1 pair HD25s (in bag) 1 pair Klipsch X10s (in case) 1 large Swiss army knife type thing screwdriver kit assorted pens and CDS Enough cables to rewire china The good lord Jesus Christ (8lb 3oz Talladega Edition) I could have jammed Maschine in too.... |
Barton Rigazio 04.12.2012 | Did some research. The Z2 is actually a relatively larger 2 chan mixer compared to others. Here are dimension comparisons (got a little carried away) for many of the major 2 channel mixers (listed in order of decreasing length, all measurements in mm, L x W x H): L x W x H (in mm) djm t1: 403 264 109 NI z2: 388 272 109 djm 909: 381 251 108 rane 62: 362 267 102 xone 32: 358 257 89 rane57sl: 343 254 102 rane 61: 338 254 102 rane 56s: 338 254 77 05proIV: 330 263 83 xone 22: 326 240 82 xone 02: 320 262 90 djm 400: 305 222 107 djm 350: 301 218 106 djm 250: 300 240 108 Magma bags already have a link dedicated to Z2 bags (no new bag, just links to which of their current bags will fit): http://www.magma-bags.com/gear-guide/Kontrol-Z2.html The Gator G-Club CDMX-10 linked above is actually a little small. But the big brother version CDMX-12 should work: http://www.gatorcases.com/p/123135-1513/g-club-cdmx-12 Any others people recommend? Look at the dimensions of the Z2 (388 mm x 272 mm x 109 mm) and let's get some more ideas! I did not search for any flight cases or hard covered boxed cases as I'm more interested in bags/backpacks... Hope this helped! |
Tashia Mcdunn 04.12.2012 | gator has a nice bag: http://www.gatorcases.com/p/123135-1659/g-club-cdmx-10 |
Dick Korus 04.12.2012 | The djtt controllerist backpack. |
Yong Aptekar 04.12.2012 | A large sock |
Barton Rigazio 04.12.2012 | I've been wondering about a Z2 backpack myself. I know there are some backpacks made for mixers. Haven't done the research yet. Keeping my eye on this thread... |
Emerson Crist 04.12.2012 | your hands |
Matt Kane 04.12.2012 | my backpack will do the job perfectly. just send it over to me and i |
Laurence Calisto 04.12.2012 | So to clarify, you're looking for any sort of case or box that'll fit a Z2. I don't have advice for you I just wasn't entirely sure about the intent of the original question. |
