Help needed, Unique Launchpad Mapping (WIP)
Help needed, Unique Launchpad Mapping (WIP) Posted on: 11.02.2011 by Lula Falconburg I've been working on my 2-deck Launchpad mapping for sometime, then Ean's Instant Gratification mapping came out. I'm about to go to work, so I'll post an image later.Essentially, it's meant to be used alongside a 2-ch analog mixer. Deck B is the same as deck A. I don't want to use any external programs/servers/translators/buffers. ----------------------------------------------------------------- From the top down- [Finished] Global: Track loading, view, and browser functions are handled by the top 8 row of circular buttons. [Finished] Deck A (Same as deck B) Transport sections: 2(up to down)x4(left to right): Cue, Loop-, Loopset/Active, Loop+ Play/Pause, Sync, Master, Keylock [Nearly Finished] Hotcue sections (Color Coded LEDs): 2x4: 5, 6, 7, 8 1, 2, 3, 4 [Toyed With] Super Combo Sections!!!: bottom 4x4 ----------------------------------------------------------------- I'm trying to simply cross the midifighter mapping over to the launchpad for the supercombos, as I don't have the time to make my own, and I believe Ean's mapping is quite good. After looking at the Instant Gratification mapping, the task is daunting, and I'm not quite sure how to approach it. Hopefully this makes sense, I'm in a rush right now. Is anyone down to help with this, or interested at all? I believe that adding some button-mashing to the Launchpad will help it make sense as a viable traktor controller, and add a lot to live performance. It's amount of buttons and backlit colored LED's make it unique-- my mission is to find its niche within the DJ realm. I believe I'm getting there. Thanks! | |

Lula Falconburg 12.02.2011 | To rapidly speed up the process, if there's anybody out there with a PC that wants to use TraktorTools (http://www.djranking s.com/community /showthread.php?t=4431) to remap the controls of the Instant gratification mapping where Deck A is controlled by the bottom left 4x4 of the LP, and Deck B is controlled by the bottom right 4x4 of the LP-- it would be immensely appreciated. |
Lula Falconburg 12.02.2011 | Yeah, you don't need automap or anything. Just install the drivers, set-up a mapping, and make sure the LP is chosen for your in and out ports in Traktor. |
Kristofer Krauel 11.02.2011 | Have you got your launchpad working at all without a secondary program? I couldn't get mine to work directly. |
