Problems mapping APC40
Posted on: 06.03.2011 by Rickie Aschbrenner
I have had this thing mapped over and over again. Dealing with the redesign of the midi mapping from version to version but I have always had 1 problem that just bugs the crap out of me. After everything is mapped and working, no matter the version of TSP, If I press any "clip launch" buttons on my APC longer then a tap the light does not do what it is programmed to. Wondering if there is something I can do to resolve this. I keep hearing talk of send monitor state messages but I have no idea if that is what I am looking for. Please help.

So there push-"to-break". Not push-to-make. So many buttons! Glad you found a fix.

Your getting into outputs so grab a bottle of Tylenol and prepare for WAR!

(I would suggest backing up your .tsi before messing with outputs, or anything else for that matter, as I have recently destroyed my previous mapping by doing so.)

Can you give a brief description of what the buttons are assigned to, including Mods, etc.

Found this posted on another thread. Maybe you could get some insight from it.

There is no need to give it a modifier condition since all it does is refresh the midi out values on the controller.

Hope it helps

Well actually they are push to make and release to break. So I guess theoretically you could assign one out command, not set to invert, to respond when you hit the button and a second command, set to invert, to respond as soon as you let go. As I do not yet see the functionality of doing this, it's always nice to know.

Oh, and just for the record. If I could go about this without max or Bomes that would be super sweet.
