Numark Mix Track Pro Mapping

Hey,

I'm looking for some help concerning mapping for the Numark Mix track Pro.
At the moment, all is set to factory defaults, wich suits me fine for now. All I would like is to have a function changed.
The scratch button on my controller makes it go into "vinyl_mode", allowing you to use the touch sensetive jog wheel to scratch and drag the track to your desired position. This part is fine.
When the scratch button is turned off the jog wheel functions as a pitch bender. Now this is what I would like to change.
I would like it that when scratch is turned off, that the jog wheel functions as a way to shift the position of your loops.
Now I have to use the mouse to turn the shift knob on Virtual DJ, but it would be ideal to have it controlled by my controller.
If this is in anyway possible I would really appreaciate the help. Below are the keys most likley to be used in making this mapping work in their default state.

Key: Action:

SCRATCH - vinyl_mode
JOG_TOUCH - touchwheel_touch
JOG - touchwheel

If you need more info let me know!
Thanks in advance

I don't have a Mixtrack anymore so I'm just going from memory here. The actual modifier values will be different.

So the Scratch Mode button is just a modifier. If you look in your mappings it will show you. I'm going to assume it's M5 for the left deck and M6 for the right deck. M(x)=0 when not in scratch mode. M(x)=1 when scratch mode is on.

And you can refer to the Mixtrack midi map here. This is for the non pro, but the jogwheel & touchpad signals are the same - http://www.djranking s.com/community /showthread.php?t=23444

The jogwheels in this case are CC025 - left & CC024 - right. The touchpads are F#5 - left & F5 - right. If you want to keep those separate in non scratch mode then use the corresponding values.

Find where the jogwheels are assigned to pitch bend and change them to loop move.

Again these are generalizations of the exact steps you will need to do to map those out. However this should be enough info to get you where you want to be.

Make sure you export your mapping after you make the changes to keep a copy and maybe post it here when you are finished with it

Good luck!
