Traktor pro S4/2 with 2 independent monitors? Posted on: 01.04.2011 by Chanelle Rethman HiSince a couple of weeks we try to find out, how we can set up traktor for using two monitors in an independent way. we want to use the second monitor for cueing the sample decks for one person while the other person is mixing the two main decks. is there a possibility to map two monitor outputs in traktor s4 (or even TP2) on two seperate audio outputs (traktor/soundcard) and control them via midi? help would be much appreciated | |

Gigi Weese 02.04.2011 | That would mean you have to route the monitor of two decks into a seperate audio device. That's not possible. You should have at least two laptops with traktor in order to be able to do this. A setup which will give you other challenges like syncing the master tempo between both laptops. |
Roberto Viccione 01.04.2011 | I don't believe you can do this all in the box. You can do it with headphone connectors but that might be a pain. Hm... Are you mixing internally or externally? |

Chanelle Rethman 02.04.2011 | yes we want use decks 1/2 as main decks and 2/3 as sample decks and cue them with two headphones while using two different channels. is there a way to set it up? |
Roberto Viccione 01.04.2011 | Just to be sure, you want to be able to blend between those two decks? And will the person mixing the main two decks need to hear a cue channel at all? Will they be using headphones as well? |
