What's the best mappings to use.....
Posted on: 05.04.2011 by Ella Rick
I'm planning to use a midifighter to control decks a&b (deckalised ab focus)
And a X1 for decks c&d.

Is there a good mapping/ temp for the x1 to use along side a midifighter

Running TSP on Mac

I have searched the community but havnt found what I'm looking for,
Any help or idea's would be great

Thanks

I take it all I need to do,
to change the X1 to control decks c&d you go into perf in traktor, go to X1 prefs

default mappings AB/CD is highlighted and all you do is press the swap sides button to set it to decks C & D

is that correct?

thanks

I thought you could do that, but I can't find that option

if all you want to do is control C&D why not use the standard mapping? You switch it to C&D in X1 preferences.

Thanks,

I will have another look around and see what's about.

I basically need the x1 to give me full control of decks c & d and the effects,
also I noticed there is a four deck control mapping for the X1 in the mappings
threads which may be what I'm after.

I believe you'll have to you're own or modify a current one.

I suppose it all depends on what you want your X1 to do... Traktor freaks has a few X1 mappings, and there are probably some in 'the list' thread.
