APC40 Traktor encoder oddness - help

Yes so I finally got one, however having some weird encoder issues!!

First off this happend ONLY with the 16 track control or device control encoders, mapping to the cue level encoder works perfectly.

An Example: Key

Using Ch1.CC.49 (device control or track control encoders)

Knob/Direct:
Working But too corse for fine keying (jumps .10 steps I want .01)

Encoder/Relative:
Twist Left goes left, twist Right the knob continues in the left direction for a little before going right (same thing other direction)

Encoder/Direct
Really Limited range to get a fine resolution.

Knob /Relative
Only works in one direction ?

Is there something I'm missing

HELP !!

I'd had assumed they were encoders the fact they were endless.

Back to mapland for me for a bit.
Yeah, sucks a bit. The only true encoder is the cue volume knob.

Its really only the transpose I wanted with that fine a range, setting up mods on the mixer cue for that knob kinda does what I want.

Kinda strange the only true encoder is the cue level .. Its not like that one even needed to be an encoder

They are endless knobs, not encoders. They have 0-127 resolution like a regular knob.
