Vestax vci 3.6.4 mapping help
Posted on: 08.04.2011 by Jc Laky
hey so i recently purchased a vestax that has firmware 1.2, i'm too lazy to upgrade to 1.3 or 4 and also have no gotten around to purchasing the full traktor pro, so i've basicly been messing around on the demo version with the new Vci 100 se mapping. The problem i'm running into is that different effects are mapped into wrong spots. So for example, my dedicated echo button activates a flanger instead of delay , and my presets are different from what the tutorial video shows as well. could you tell me that its just the traktor pro demo thats causing these effects to load into incorrect areas or the firmware?

Also, do you have an overlay for the VCI?

If not, thats why the markings are not the same as the map.
No i understand all the functionalities and what its suppose to do but i believe its a problem with the demo or somthing

The upgrade's really easy, you're not likely to damage anything and the VCI is a LOT better once you've upgraded.

Re. the effects, reimport the tsi file twice with the big import button.

I don't particularly want to upgrade to 1.4 because I have a feeling i'm going to damage something if i were to try
