Only one X1

Only one X1

Control 4 Decks with only one Kontrol X1 in native mode (NHL) with all Hotcues working.

I tried to make it as closest as possible the default mapping just adding the extra features I wanted.

Hey dj divine justice II,

Thank you, the video is a very good contribution for the post.

Just a comment, you changed the Left.1 button to browser only, but in my original mapping you can do this with Shift.Right.Load and also can toggle Full Deck View to Mini Deck View using Shift.Left.Load.

BTW, if someone wants to change the FX Presets (which I know is a personal preference) you can do so very easily sorting by Comments on Control Manager.

Cheers

Unplug the X1 and plug it back in...should work fine.

Everytime I import the .tsi file my Kontrol X1 doesn't react anymore. Anyone knows what I'm doing wrong?

@markstent: In a word, depending on your soundcard, yes.

I've made similar changes including using the left scroll knob to browse the explorer tree on the left hand side and shift pressing that knob expands and collapses folders. Pretty handy.

no to sound stupid but can you, if using an external mixer...listen to each channel individually?

btw. thanks a lot and_leite for the tsi (nice timing too - was just reading up on modifiers), made some changes and using it, it's brilliant. djkevind I will give a go to your midi mixer as well, even though I prefer external, it should be useful for a portable all-in-one X1.

interesting! I was wondering how this could be done, surely such functionality could be implemented in the X1 from the beginning.. that is, if NI didn't want to sell double X1's to Hawtin wannabes..

Hey djkevind

I tested it in two different machines (Windows Seven and XP) and both opened just fine.

Perhaps you can try download from here:
