Ella Rick 26.04.2011 | Hey, Yeah it would be nice to have a play around with the db4, unfortunately I don't believe there is anywhere in Edinburgh I can do this, Maybe in Glasgow tho I'm still very tempted , but at the moment I will stick with my xone92 Or if I come across a db4 that's a wee bit cheaper than the 1800 pound Price tag. Thanks for your info |
Brant Briski 26.04.2011 | the db4 is great, and all that i use for traktor at this point. but the best suggestion i can give anyone about it is to do what it takes to experience it in person. i can say that the dual filter mode eq will change the way you believe things are possible in a mix, and that the effects give back as much as you put in. the most profound things reveal themselves in small spaces; yet certain effects take to broad strokes in amazing ways. but hands on and ears open is the best way to experience it. sometimes reading about sound is like talking about flavour. not even a close substitute for the actual experience. |
Ella Rick 24.04.2011 | Nice one! just need to get a db4 now, which I'm seriously considering. How is the db4 to use? I've got a xone 92 that I've been using for years I would not use any other mixer |
