Using 2 of the same midi controllers for Traktor?
Using 2 of the same midi controllers for Traktor? Posted on: 19.05.2011 by Margarett Rankins Hi, I'm trying to use two Numark Mixtrack Pros with Traktor so that I can control 4 decks at once. The problem is that Traktor recognizes the two mixtracks as only one unit so any midi mapping gets applied to both. How can i get Traktor to recognize the two controllers separately (say Mixtrack Pro 1 and Mixtrack Pro 2) so that I can map 2 decks to one controller and the other 2 decks to the other controller? Thank you all for your help! | |

Hyman Bordenkircher 19.05.2011 | maybe you could go to the midi controller section and (not use the traktor setup wizard) delete all midi profiles and add new general midi chose in and out port for numark 1 and add general midi and chose other in out ports for other numark if they are showing up like mixtrack 1 and 2 ore something (i have a cone 1d and sometimes its 2-xone device and sometimes diferent usb port 1-xone) maybe i dont know you need the two units to have seperate midi channels see in the manual if you can change the other mixtrack to another midi channel.. |
Kecia Wnukowski 19.05.2011 | How many midi channels does the numark use or can use? If you can change one of the unit's mid channel (or set of midi channels) to another one(s), problem solved, otherwise....I don't have a clue. |
