Can't figure out how to map X1 PLAY+SYNC
Posted on: 18.05.2011 by Wava Egizi
Hi!

I am making a fresh new mapping for my Kontrol X1 for Traktor Pro 2!

I try to map the PLAY + SYNC buttons the exact same way they work in TP1 but I can't get it to work!

I've tried to look on the TSI for TP1 and I have tried many different ways to map it, but with no luck.

Please look at my attatched image to see how I got it mapped right now.

In TP1 the SYNC button works like this:
Press 1: The deck get the same BPM like the other deck.
Press 2: If the BPM is correct but they're not playing at the same position, it jumps in correct position and both tracks are playing at same speed and in sync, and the two LEDs on the X1 also blinks in sync

Or have I missed something?

It seems like the Phase Sync is what I'm looking for....?

why not just load the original mapping and delete what you don't want? might be quicker.
Well... I can't find the original TSI for TP2... The TSI in my TP2-folder seems broken and I don't have my record here Do you know where I can download the original TSI from internet? I've searched, but with no luck.

There's beatsync and temposync which work differently, you probably want to use beatsync but I'd read up on it in the manual anyway.

If you want to keep some of the original functions but change some, why not just load the original mapping and delete what you don't want? might be quicker.

The "SYNC" mapping from TP1 doesn't exist in TP2... Which mapping has replaced it?
