Nanopad - writing new mappings with kontrol
Nanopad - writing new mappings with kontrol Posted on: 22.05.2011 by Fallon Gammon helloIm configuring a korg nanopad with a macbook pro. I had issues with dead pads (the whole top row) which ive now sorted by unpeeling and replacing the sensors.. im using midimonitor to check the incoming signals so i can see whats going on with any other software confusing things any further, but ultimately im working in Live. i run kork kontrol editor, select the nanopad, make changes - global_>write. but nothing seems to be getting written to the nanopad. im trying to change the pad outputs - currently p7 is C and p8 is D for instance - but i want to set up p8 to be C sharp. So i make the changes in Kontrol - midi monitor show that when i do a write to dump the new config to the pad: from pad sysex universal non real time 15 bytes from pad sysex korg 11 bytes dso it look like something is being dumped? but no effect on the note being output from my pads. any ideas would be VERY gratefully received! cheers Jd | |
