Having a lot of trouble mapping a track selection encoder Posted on: 29.05.2011 by Birgit Gondal I decided to completely remap my Nocturn, and in attempting to map a List Select Up/Down knob, i've come across a problem. Ports are both automap in and out, and i've tried using a 0 step, 0-127 with a zero step, -127-127 with 1 step, 0-0 with a 1 step, adjusted everything i can believe of and basically i'm all out of ideas.it will go down on the 0-127 with the 1 step, and the 0-0 with a one step, but i have to hit invert to get it to go the other way, as no matter which way i turn the knob it still goes down or up depending on whether invert is pressed. some picturrs. it's called midshigh as i havent got around to changing the labels, also ignore the output routing thing, its because my A4 isn't connected! | |

Birgit Gondal 31.05.2011 | It's endless encoders supposedly, yep tried direct and it just refuses to work! |
Leeanna Ayla 31.05.2011 | Yeah, is it a pot or an encoder? Have you tried changing the mode to direct? |
Ok Moroski 31.05.2011 | Are you trying to map a pot or an encoder? From the looks of it the Nocturn has pots instead of encoders (though I may be wrong on this). That being the case, I believe absolute might work more as intended? |
Birgit Gondal 30.05.2011 | any help at all? *shameless bumpity* |
