Supercombos with anything?
Posted on: 15.06.2011 by Percy Keehan
So I have been wondering. I thought I could make a really cheap MidiFighter Clone for about $60. I know how and everything- but now I have come to the mapping. The only real reason I want a MidiFighter is for the IG Mapping and to edit it to my liking. So, is it possible to make the supercombos with any controller? Or does only the MidiFighter support that? Either way I am buying the CueMaster when it is in stock, I just want a small little fun project to keep me going

This article may also help you to adapt it to your own controller as unlike your controller you may not have (probably not) a 5 fifth note sent after pressing 4 buttons:

this link in this post has helped me greatly.... i dunno why.... but it did....

I will kind of understand everypart of this mapping now... except this could take a few months to perfect and release. This will be for, well, a numpad mod- to say. The only downside of it will be that it isnt a real midifighter and that it aint got no LEDs. but until the CueMaster is back in stock i believe it will be a fun project

What software are you using / plan to use with it?

This info is on the community and several people have already gotten it to work with other controllers. Nothing will be exactly like the Midi Fighter though as lots of its function is in the firmware.

I agree the trigger finger is a great controller. You even get 4 faders!

I don't see why you couldn't. midifighter is just a midi controller, map it however you want.

*hell for $60 bucks you could probably get a used Trigger Finger. 16 pads, 4 faders, and 8 rotaries. Pretty good bang for your buck.
