VCI 100 se 3.6.4 mapping

I started fixing the mapping because for whatever reason certain buttons were out of whack when imported to TPRO 2. I got mostly everything working again but my Control Fx 1 and 2 are switched. 1 is on Decks B and D where as 2 is on Decks A and C. Does anyone know what this is under in the mapping?

Most likely cause of that is that the LED's burnt out. That happened to me, I soldered in a new one. There's an LED test mode built into the VCI, I believe it's hold down left slice + cue buttons while turning on or something. 2 of the bottom 8 buttons anyway. you can then cycle through all the leds by clicking the buttons, and the faders and knobs as well.

I know it use to be Blue. It is the sync button on the current mapping overlay

That's what route FX does.

And the LEDs only have 2 states. Some are blue or off, some are blue or green. Nothing you can do to change that (other than remove the green LEDs), and don't ask my why.

Never played with the route FX but I will look into that. I just need to fix the Control Fx 1 to work on Deck A and on Decks B and D I need to figure out how to change the Beat Sync LED to go green to blue.

I just re-read your first post, when you say they're switched, can you not just reassign them in the software, or by holding down route FX on the VCI?

traktor 2 was just reinstalled recently on my desktop and laptop

Tried reinstalling Traktor? It's so hard to keep track of all the modifiers in that mapping that I'd suggest it's easier to spend a while trying to get it to import properly than trying to remap it all.

I know, I did the import method twice trying to get it work, It didn't so I tried it again without the effects settings.

You have to import effect settings both times.

Yea I just did it again. Once without effect settings and once with. Now I have to go back and redo everything. That is why I just wanted to know what it was called under the mapping

So to confirm, you HAVE imported both Controller Mappings and Effects Presets from the 3.6.4 Traktor Pro 2 version VCI-100 tsi file with the big import button twice, restarting Traktor each time?

Effect settings almost always go screwy if it's not imported using the exact method above.

No, I know of THE BIG IMPORT BUTTON. I know of importing it twice my question was asked because a specific issue is occurring.

Your question's been answered man.

I know there is a VCI support section I just thought it wouldn't really matter that much. Thank you very much for your help I will direct my questions elsewhere.

Big Import button twice is mandatory. Other than that rearranging the effects in Traktor to be in the same order as T1 with the new ones in the bottom may need to be done as well.

Dude, there's a VCI-100 support section of this community here.

Did you ever try reimporting the standard mapping (the updated Traktor 2 version, here) using the big import button twice?
