APC40 Midi Fighter Scenes

Alright?

I've noticed alot of people on this community are using an APC40 to control Traktor.. as am I but I've more ideas for it than technical skill with mappings so I was wondering if anyone could answer this question for me..

Is it possible to use the scene launch buttons on the APC to switch between different 'pages' of control? For example, decks A/B on scene launch 1, then C/D, AND THEN... pages of Midi-Fighter control for the different decks, and dedicated FX buttons?!

That would be one intense controller! I know that Paddy's APC map does something similar whereby pressing the button to switch from Deck A to C changes the lights and controls on the clip launch matrix, but I'm not quite sure how to implement it.

If you have any knowledge on this, please PLEASE explain to me if it could work cos it would be nuts!

Peace,

Yeh his is sort of what I'd be going for but so far I'm having some problems.

The scene launch buttons don't seem to work like the rest of the other buttons, for example when I have the same settings mapped to them as some buttons in the clip launch I just can't get the scene launch buttons to go any colour apart from green! Think this might be something to do with dumb/regular mode...

So far though I'm a bit confused, searched all over the community s and had no luck. I have a column of four buttons which I'd intend to use for each different 'page'. I want all the buttons lit green, but then to flash yellow depending on which 'page' is selected.

1) Deck A/B - modifier 1=0
2) Deck C/D - modifier 1=1
3) Midifighter - modifier 2=0
4)not sure yet - modifier 2=1

Settings are like this:
Modifier In/Out for each button.
Modifier In's are all mapped to each button, with button 1 set to value 0, button 2 set to value 1, and the same for modifier 2 buttons.

Modifier Outs are assigned to their corresponding notes and modifier states. Controller range is set to 0-0 for button 1, 1-1 button2 etc. and the Midi Range is set to 5-5 for each button.

Does anyone know if I need to map another output for each button?! Confused...

I don't believe it works quite like it does with Ableton.
I know that it has a bunch of profiles you can engage...like Dumb Mode etc.

Each have their own features.

I know Padi did some forward believeing on his....but believe it was a real well used shift or something....not actual modes.
