WIP: LPD8 for Traktor 2
WIP: LPD8 for Traktor 2 Posted on: 24.06.2011 by Luanna Bredl Working on a mapping for LPD8.So far: Prog 4 - PAD Setting. Pads 5-8 play samples left to right on deck C. Knobs control volume. Pads 1-4 play samples left to right on deck D. Knobs control volume. Prog 3 - PAD Setting. Set FX1 and 3 for decks A and C - FX2 and 4 for B and D. Knobs are great for transitions. Knob 1-4 controls dry/wet, on/off and effect amount for certain chained effects for FX1. For instance, when K4 is set at far left, everything is off. As soon as you start turning it, it turns on T3Reverb, IceVerb and RingModulator on FX1, controls dry/wet and effect amount on all three effects. Knob 5-8 controls dry/wet, on/off and effect amount for certain chained effects for FX2. Pad 8 is a 'freeze' button for FX3, Pad 4 is 'freeze' for FX4. Both are 'HOLD' Pad 7 is a 'quick delay' for FX1, Pad 3 is 'quick delay' for FX2. Usable for hip hop accents and tripping beats. Both are 'HOLD' ===== That's all I have so far. | |

Doug Bieling 29.06.2011 | Everyone seems to be bringing out the LPD8s at the mo I was working on one all last evening to but am trying to do one as a scratch pro companion for effects and loops. Mainly using super knobs and only one bank so not much switching and confusion. My head started to hurt at a bout 11 though so gave up until im in a better frame of mind. Super knobs scramble your brain when it comes to mapping them |
