VCI-100SE and timecode vinyl
VCI-100SE and timecode vinyl Posted on: 22.07.2011 by Windy Pencille Is it possible to have my VCI-100SE and timecoded vinyl? I dont care about using the jog wheels like a CDJ. I want them for FX controlling. So how could I have the best of both worlds? | |

Windy Pencille 22.07.2011 | When I try to hook it up it blows out the VCI 100 SE mappings from DJ ranking s.... |
Tatum Ansaldo 23.07.2011 | And btw you can still use Traktor's internal mixer for Scratch control if you want to. You don't HAVE to have an external mixer. |
Tatum Ansaldo 23.07.2011 | You'll need a Traktor Scratch Licence and an NI certified sound card, but yes if you have the full TSP setup you can use your VCI as usual for FX or whatever. It would be nice if Twitch had extra inputs, but I believe they've done pretty much the most they can with such a small form factor! The whole idea is that it's portable after all, which is kinda scuppered if you're lugging around TTs and vinyl as well. You can always use it with an existing TSP setup just like you can with the VCI, I'll definitely be doing that at home. |
Federico Vilas 23.07.2011 | Yeah, map it the way u want BUT u still need a mixer... I wish twitch had inputs for turntables bc that would be the better option |
Dj LsEx 22.07.2011 | Plug it in and map it dood. |
