Mapping xone four band eq on vci-100 se
Mapping xone four band eq on vci-100 se Posted on: 26.07.2011 by Marketta Dellatorre Hello all...I bought a used vci-100 se a few months back and im absolutely loving it. The only thing I want to implement is the xone four band eq, which i love so much. I want to get rid of the filter knob and just have all four bands parallel down the controller. I've gone into the preexisting map i have for the vci and I must say, i cant make sense of most of it. Its within the modifiers that it I really get confused, especially where there is one knob that triggers different things based on which deck you are in. I really only need to do this for decks A and B...Definitely new to midi mapping and cant really wrap my head around this complex mapping that the tech tools peeps have worked so hard on.I was hoping some one could chime in and just tell me what needs to be swapped out, what for what. I gather it shouldn't be too hard, once i know exactly what needs to be changed..any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks | |

Marketta Dellatorre 26.07.2011 | Allright...I have figured out a thing or two, not as hard as it seems!! I have got every eq knob configured to where i want it. I mapped the low end to where the filter once was. I had to invert the knob, for some reason the software was doing everything backwards to what the controller was doing, only on that knob....fixed that...Now, the knob doesn't responded like the rest of the eq knobs...there is a pretty big delay. The software says the knob is in the middle, when on the controller the knob is allmost to the very far left. Not sure why this is happening. This is the last hurdle...anyone have any idea why this would be happening?? I hope my above ramblings make sense...thanks!! |
Marketta Dellatorre 26.07.2011 | Basically all i need to do is move the low end to where the filters are and put in the mid-low where the low end is..sounds easy enough, but i cant figure it... |
