Can 'Other' Midi Controllers With Touch Sensitive Jog Wheels Be Mapped Like The S2??? Posted on: 09.09.2011 by Jefferey Delli Does anyone know if 'OTHER' Midi controllers with 'Touch-Sensitive Jog-Wheels' such as the 'Gemini-CNTRL 7' or the 'Numark Mixtrack' can be mapped the same way where the platter controls the effects and amount? Or is this specific and can only work on the S2?I know it was possible with the VCI-100 but I'm hearing that the new T2 PRO software wont allow this, only to the S2. Thanks. | |

Yee Bedilion 10.09.2011 | I believe the s2 jog wheel utilizes the 4 "buttons" that we had problems with calibrating on the s4. So if you make a cross hair shape there are 4 buttons on each angle of the cross. It seems he has some definite controls wit the buttons. like 1/4 and 18th notes. Thats just what I got from the video |
Kecia Wnukowski 09.09.2011 | Yes it's doable on almost any controller. Just map a system where touching the platter will engage the Fx(s) and the movement of the jogwheel, usually set as an encoder, will move the parameters. |
