Traktor x1 led mapping

Apparently led and x1 are pretty common search terms so i may have missed it but does anybody have the basic controller range values to make x1 buttons do different things?

I dont want to go too nuts but i cant even get on/off working right. The most complex id want is a blinking light.

Since its hid and u choose the button, do i even need to know the midi note? I dont believe i do.

Rather, i believe i need the controller range values, right? I looked at some and they read like -.0500000000 to 1. Im pretty confused here..

Can somebody tell me how to make the x1 play button blink if im in scratch control mode and the deck is playing?

I chose to add an out
Then chose the button
Associated it with a deck
And added a modifier of mode equal scratch control
The midi and controller ranges i tried all sorts of stuff..

And the invert is a lil confusing.. Why is that useful?

Please help..pulling hair out

Nope, was just trying to do it thru NI's NHL commands..

But then I understand I need to set the midi range and the controller range at the bottom of the map screen.. The controller range I believe is what would cause something to blink.. but I believe I have determined that buttons cant really blink unless u tie them to an OUT command such as phase meter or volume level..

In other words, I couldnt map the OUT command "Deck Play" to a blinking button (unless I work around to somehow make the blink-friendly phase monitor commands reference the deck play via a modifier).

Am I on right track here?

Thnx!
