Hawtin's maschine LED mapping
Hawtin's maschine LED mapping Posted on: 28.01.2012 by Boyce Engbrecht HiDoes anyone know how to get the Maschine's LEDs to 'snake' like Richie Hawtin has them in the video below? I only really need the top row to do it. So like pad 1-2-3-4-1-2-3-4 etc flashing in order. I realise he probably uses the maschine software to do this but is it possible in traktor? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zGL9at-nEi4 | |
Simona Schar 28.01.2012 | really easy... consider "beat phase monitor" output, and split it in different output... The midi range of "beat phase monitor" output is something like -0,5 + |

Boyce Engbrecht 28.01.2012 | Thanks 'Just Friday' worked perfectly! Problem I have now is the Maschine stops responding in traktor after about 3 minutes! Waste of a day mapping it all! Seems to be a common problem. Nightmare! |
Simona Schar 28.01.2012 | I believe you can do it... LEDs mapping is a PITA, but you can do a loooooot of things if you realy want it. |
Romelia Stankard 28.01.2012 | His LEDs are doing that because he is using the step sequencer in maschine. Not sure if there is any way to map it in traktor. |
