VMS4.1 By American Audio Posted on: 30.12.2011 by Shemika Shinohara Hi by problem is mapping in Virtual dj yes will get to tracktor later one step at a time.How do I use this dang mapper I try to learn a key and it won't let it. Not sure what I'm doing wrong but its driving me nuts most keys do what they are supposed to but the slider strip is to scroll folder and it won't. With the LE version things worked ok but not the right skin was a virtual dj skin with four decks and I would like only two and would like it to be vms4.1 layout. The big problem I believe is that VDJ is a cracked pro but not sure. I'm trying not to pay the extra 160.00 for pro upgrade from LE version. I have never worked with the mapper before and need some pointer or video on it thatnks John | |

| Shemika Shinohara 24.02.2012 | I did get it working with some files from american audio firmware update and that changed how the mapping worked. Before the slidding strip wood scroll the songs now the knobs do it whitch is better. As for the LE they send with it waste of time no playlist or auto. If I can get a program with a crack working fine trust me I will use it. I have some programs that I bough and still use the cracked version because there easy to move around say from machine to machine. Thanks for your input have not tried the mapping again but I'm sure your right why it won't work. |
| Maryellen Cancelli 24.02.2012 | If you dont have the log onto VDJ then consider it cracked. With a log on you can download everything you need and get it up and running. How ever Im not sure how different the 4.1 is other then the sound board and mic I dont know what they changed. But I would guess the maps would be the same. I do know you need to install the LE on the same computer as the Pro for the VMS to work. Once I open pro I had no issues hitting learn then hitting a button on the controller to identify it. Make sure your hitting the right learn as there are two one to learn your button on controller and one to learn what you want it to controll in VDJ. I mapped my VMS4 with no issues as there were a few changes I made to the maps that they had. |
