I seen it before but Dunno how to do this

How do I make ableton only go to the 0 mark on the faders when I bring the faders all the way up? or even have it set to like -6db when the faders are maxed?

Currently using apc40

Tried and doesnt do anything be set it to that but when I go down to that mark on my apc40 it catches it and then it can go back up to 6.0db

Found out... It's impossible unless I map that fader directly.
How do I map it directly though is beyond me.
