Hi everyone,

I recently sold my Mixtrack Pro and Nanopad Mk 1. I have been using them with TP 2 and managed to set the Nanopad up for effects toggling on one scene and cue juggling on another, I believe it was beginners luck that none of the midi signals conflicted.

I have now acquired a VCI 100 and a Nanopad 2. Whilst I eagerly await delivery of the FW 1.4 upgrade kit I am struggling to map the Nanopad without it effecting pre mapped functions. I am quite new to Midi.

From looking at the default map on the VCI in Traktor it appears that everything is sent from the VCI on Midi Ch01. I have tried setting every button (in every scene) in Korg Kontrol editor to Midi Ch02 as I assumed that there would be no conflict, but when I try to start fresh and map some buttons to effects for example, when I press them they also trigger other functions in Traktor (Cue/play etc) as the Nanopad is sending out the same note information that Traktor is already expecting to receive for another function. I wasn't sure what to set the in and out ports to either.

Is there any way that I can start a fresh mapping with the Nanopad and basically have 16 (x 4) buttons that I can map to any function without these conflicts and triggering other functions? Or do I have to go through the VCI mapping, button by button and the make sure the nanopad does not output any of the same notes information? It's a evening mare!

I don't even know where in the community I should be posting this!

I have searched the community and cant find anything so If anyone could point me in the right direction I would really appreciate it!

Thanks in advance.

The in-port has to be set at Nano Pad @ the nanopad mapping and vice versa with the VCI
