Just got a pair of these to control traktor... am mapping for 2 decks + 2 sample decks.

1. What do you do to select fx type? Seems like the fx knob section is missing a valuable encoder

2. The cue/loop buttons don't seem to light up right green / orange so makes it hard to tell what bank I'm in.

3. Have you been able to map to load/ jump to saved cue/loop points? Some reason I can't figure out how in traktor controller editor..

4. Anyone use the 2nd decks on these for sample decks? Share experiences?

Thanks, Andrew

Thanks for the reply.

Yes, I did figure out the shift + encoder for the fx. After figuring how where to download the firmware upgrade, the lights on the cue buttons seem to be working well.

I ended up using the Denon 4 deck tsi but remapping C + D sample decks. Did not like their mapping for these..

Anyway, after a few frustrating kinks this thing is awesome....

1) shift + the 2/3/4 encoder will change the FX, the denon mapping doesn't contain an group/single switch, but this should be easy enough to map to dry/wet encoder

2) they do -most of the time- , the old denon traktor mapping worked pretty well for me, the midi light feedback on the newer TSP2 mapping doesn't seem to always light up the hot cues properly as you mention

3) why bother, just use the denon mapping* (see #2)

4) if you mean the denon TSP2 2decks +2sample decks mapping then yes I have used it, i'm not a big fan that they get rid of the deck A/B hot cues 5-8 so these become load from deck, I would prefer this to be already on the C/D hot cues instead of mute, I don't use the mute thing much

In general I believe they work great for 2 decks or 4 decks, the sample deck mapping could be better.
