Modifier Problem

Modifier Problem
Posted on: 19.05.2012 by Sharmaine Pellino
Hey Djranking s,

I've downloaded the S2 mapping by Beaubyte (or smth like that ), and when I try to map my Novation Launchpad and try to put a modifier on a button, the S2 modifier goes with it.

Explanation: Modifier 1 on S2 is blinking LED from the dry/wet button
Modifer 1 on Launchpad is SND a button.

SO when I try to put a modifier on my SND A button, the S2 also reacts.

How to fix it?
Or must I divide the 8 modifiers over ALL the midi controllers?

Thx in advance

WY!

a midi device shows up as two "things". a midi in port and a midi out port, which are usually (but not always) named the same. traktor doesn't assume they are named the same way so you have to select them independently for in and out.

the mixxx dj software actually looks for a midi in port and out port of the same name - so u only need to choose one "thing" just like for a hid device.

Yes I did.
BUT I can't set the s2 out port for any reason.
The in is S2, the out also, but it's disabled for a reason..
