Vestax VCI 400 traktor mappings from Vestax Website Posted on: 05.07.2012 by Shirlee Vonohlen Hi there!I just received my VCI 400 and downloaded the traktor mapping from vestax website, which I'm still trying to figure out since there's no explanation on their mapping with the VCI. ANyone using the Vestax traktor mappings that could help me? Secondly, Is there anyway I can grab a running loop on a playing track into the sample bank without using the mouse to drag and drop from the laptop? (can this be done with the vestax traktor mappings) Since I'm new to this, anyone can recommend best traktor mappings for the standard vci400? Thanks | |

Shirlee Vonohlen 05.07.2012 | Hey bhagatriks, thanks for the info! Any bugs on viper's mappings or isit working flawlessly? I'm a little confused with viper's instructions, he mentioned: After loading the first mapping, all potentiometers knobs and buttons have to pressed once. (Do you have to turn every knob and fader, buttons everytime u switch on traktor? What is a potentiometers btw?) In particular, the preview Poti and the push function two times. (What is preview Poti and push function?) Then the big headphone button which is responsible for the browse function of the jog wheel. (Does he mean the Master Cue button?) Sorry for all the noob question! And thanks for your patience! Cheers! |
Donita Menster 05.07.2012 | try using viper9711's mapping - link: http://www.traktorbible.com/freaks/m...ew.aspx?id=399 he can't support the mapping anymore because he sold his unit. but i find his last edit pretty dope! he even put in EGE-like FX with Scratch/Jog Controls. i have done tweaks to it so i will be posting my edit shortly on DJTT Mapping. quick tips: 1. click the master headphone browser twice to enable scratch/jog controls. 2. in mode 3 (fx mode), you have 8 banks of fx - four on FX1 and four on FX2. click and enjoy using the jog wheels. to disable, just double-click the vinyl button to re-enable scratch controls. |
