having issues with controller maps i download Posted on: 06.07.2012 by Janet Mcannally Hi Guys,I bought a S2 a few days ago and so far i have been loving it. a friend of mine recommended i download some maps to extend S2's abilities so i downloaded the crazy DJTT mapping. everything works fine, and the fx are absolutely sick but i have a problem that renders the mapping unusable and i've been trying to fix it for hours now. the problem i run into is when i'm cueing on deck B, if i press shift and spin the jog wheel, it spins the track on deck A. WTF!!!! i can't figure out how to get around this and its a total disaster. i love this mapping so much because it enables me to have 4 deck control. i use ermix decks on deck c and live input on deck d for my maschine. the fx are cool and all but i'm really after the 4 deck control. i tried other mappings and to my surprise the exact same thing happens. can anyone help me fix this? i would love to use the DJTT mapping so much. honestly getting this mapping running right is the only thing keeping me from buying a midi fighter. someone please help me | |
| Janet Mcannally 07.07.2012 | Everything works perfectly now! I just redownloaded it and installed again and it magically worked. I also installed beau bytes maschine midifighter mapping and I'm stoked. This is the most comprehensive setup I've ever owned. I finally fulfilled my dreams. Thanks for the help man!

when I get home. I spoke to a couple of traktor guys at my work and they told me that they believe the problem is with the deck focus. I'll try your steps out toevening
and see how it works. You yourself have *no* problem when you hold shift and spin the right jog wheel? i can scrub fine, its when i press shift to do high speed scrubbing is when it starts doing it on deck A. i hope your tips work man, this mapping is killer!

| Dick Korus 06.07.2012 | Delete all other mappings on your list, Download beaubrytes s2 mapping, click the big import button on the bottom, open and apply it as the s2 mapping. It's the best one availible for when you run a secondary controller. Be sure to add in the secondary controller with the add button not the import button. Then go to your list and re apply the s2 mapping over the top from the list. |
