TSP2 "Scratch" + "Pitchbend" mode on jogwheels? (Xone:4D)
Posted on: 07.09.2012 by Isabell Deveau
I just got a Xone:4D and of course i found several mappings on the net. However they`re too overloaded for me since i would love to use the jogs in "Scratch" (i know they aren`t good for that) and "Pitchbend" mode only.
I understood that i most probably need to configure some modifier to switch between modes pressing a button but i couldn`t get it working.

Maybe someone can help me out here and tell me what i have to map

a) to activate the "Scratch Mode" for the jogs
b) to activate the "Pitchbend" Mode for the jogs
c) to switch between modes pressing a button

TIA!

Yes, same button it is. As for banding and scratching you can use "jog turn" command to both functions, only with different sensitivity settings.

Encoder / relative

Okay got that modifier toggling button working i believe (need to add-in this two times with the same button, right?)
However i don`t know about the modes @ Deck Common. Is it Tempo Bend, Tempo Bend (stepless) or Jog turn? I know that the jog is an encoder for sure but i don`t know what to select to seek, bend and scratch. Wahhh.

Thats sounds pretty easy, Stewe
Thanks a lot in advance. I will check it out and give feedback!

First set one button to be toggling modifier. This will be your pitchband/scratch activator.

Add in Modifier 1
Modifier conditions / M1=0
Type of controller-button
Interaction mode-direct
Set to value-1

Map pitchband to jogwheel and give it modifier condition of M1=0
Map scratch to jogwheel and give it modifier condition of M1=1
