need help finding an axiom 25 mapping for traktor
Posted on: 04.10.2012 by Winter Ruggio
hello,
i was wondering if anyone can help me find a mapping for an axiom 25 for traktor.
or,if someone could help explain to me how to make a mapping that just controls pitch with the keys.i want to do something like a controller one type of skratching by changing the pitch quickly hitting the keys.so if im skratching 'for example' the 'ahh' sound,i can play it in different keys/or notes.
everywhere i have looked, people jus map their axiom to work like an X1.which is cool, but i have an X1. i got the axiom to have more keys to use half for deck a and half for deck b.maybe perhaps map the pads to the sample decks, but i really jus want a D.I.Y controller one type set up.if anyone can help me or point me in the right direction,i would very appreciate the help.
imagine even using a tone and being able to 'play' the tone with other musicians.the possibilities are wide open and i dont see many people using them.all i have seen is people doing this with the cdx.i have 2 cdx's and they are both dead.so thats not an option.thank you in advance.

Cool! You can let me know how it goes with your mapping for sure but there is no need to send me tsi because I don't use that controller. Eventually you can upload it later to MIDI MAPS page so other guys can find it where it belongs.

I am interested to hear your tracks and if you like you can send me a private massage with links. Just for record I'm techno, deep and techouse fan but also love to hear some crazy hip-hop mashups.

Cheers,

Steve

Alright, back in to first gear...

Decrease button:

Add in "Jog turn"
-Tupe of controller - Button
-Interaction mode - DEC
-Deck Assignment - (speaks for itself)
-Button options - check box for Auto Repeat (will continue to pitch track as long as you hold button) / Resolution - pitch speed

Now add new "Jog turn" command and apply all this very same settings except of Interaction mode that need to be set as INC.

Hopefully you have better idea now?
