Kellie Myrum 22.10.2012 | Definitely sounds like a platter issue... |
Tam Niranjan 22.10.2012 | I have used Traktor 2.1~, but since I figured it might be the cause of jog wheel numbness I switched to 2.5, however this was not the answer as the jog still misbehaves, I am kinda lost actually, I am starting to believe this might be a hardware issue, since this is happening on Virtual Dj as well. |
Tam Niranjan 22.10.2012 | Unfortunately the right jog actually works the way it is supposed to, but the left one only has touchpad sensitivity. When I attempt to map the left jog wheel, I click the 'learn' function in the Traktor, turn the jog wheel and I get no channel response from Traktor. I use 2.5 version of Traktor and the mapping Numark website provides. |
Kellie Myrum 21.10.2012 | If all decks don't scratch the first check if you got missing command for "jog turn"/enc-relative or just modifier condition needs to be dedicated to it. Which mapping do you use? Is it proper to your version of traktor? In fact, any older version of traktor mappings than 2.5 can't do scratching because "scratch" command won't be recognized in newest versions. Both scratching and pitchbanding are defined in same command and only difference is in rotary sensitivity settings. |
