Trying to map Flux Mode to S4. Please help!
Trying to map Flux Mode to S4. Please help! Posted on: 02.11.2012 by Eddy Bizjak I have never tried to map anything and I can never even get pre made maps to work. What I'm trying to accomplish is having flux mode mapped on specific decks on my S4 with LED feedback like this.Shift+Left.Load on/off Flux Mode with LED Feedback for Deck A Shift+Deck C Selector on/off Flux Mode with LED Feedback for Deck C Shift+Right.Load on/off Flux Mode with LED Feedback for Deck B Shift+Deck D Selector on/off Flux Mode with LED Feedback for Deck D I would like to be able to do this without ruining the default mapping. That's why I want use the shift function vs just the normal button press. Anybody out there able to help me accomplish this? | |

But i am believeing now that OFFSET button can be cool because very close of the loop section. I am gonna try to map them, plus keep the function "tempo reset" when you push them together. I like to going more and more faster in my set, so i use Tempo sync mode and relative. (not beat sync anymore). Thank you! Ah : last question : are you using an X1 in the same time? X1 plus S4? |

Eddy Bizjak 29.12.2012 | This method works for me but in order for it to work you have to override the default switch layout default mapping (Shift+Deck C/D Selector). The LED feedback is nice because I can glance down and check if Flux is on or not. |
Donny Lansaw 29.12.2012 | Hello, i am really interested by your idea to use these buttons to activate flux mode on S4. Fro now, i use this method :
Button, sometimes, i don't know why, the S4 desappears of the In/ port. I am looking the other button idea (http://www.native-instruments.com/fo...d.php?t=179921), nice ideas, but after all, i realise that i am using each button of the S4! So your method looks fine, especially with led on or not. Did you success? is your tsi works? By the way, i am looking a method to swirch layout. there is one by short cuts on keyboard (cntrl / and contrl +). doesn't work for me because i use an french keyboard! Do you found a way to switch with S4? |
