Mapping the Icon iDJ to Virtual DJ

Hi,

I'm mapping the Icon iDJ with Virtual DJ, and have a few problems I've run into, and anyone with experience with either the Icon IDJ or Virtual DJ mapping might be able to help me out.

For one, I can't seem to map the jogwheel in any functional way at all. I don't need it to alter the pitch, but just scroll through the song so I can line it up to where I need it, backspin, or possibly scratch (not that I need to scratch, but what I'm after would probably include that ability). So if anyone would know how to map that it'd be helpful.

Secondly, and this is a little bit weirder.. but basically, on the crossfader, if it sits in the middle, or moves slowly past the exact middle, the fader in VirtualDJ will jolt to the far left rather than remain in the middle, and correct itself once the physical fader is moved out of the center. I don't know if theres something extra I need to map to account for the middle, or if it may even be a hardware error?

Thirdly, I was wondering if once I've mapped this controller, if I'd be able to save it so that if I wanted to use the controller on somebody elses laptop, that I wouldn't have to remap it entirely. EDIT(solved)

I'd appreciate any help from any of you wizards out there.

EDIT: I saw a post that suggested pressing the Layer button, moving the crossfader from left to right, and pressing it again, to change the curve, re:crossfader problem. However, this changed the crossfader to only have three positions - far left, center, far right (nothing in between).

"param_greater 50% ? jogwheel +0.1% : jogwheel -0.1%" seems like the best I can do with a simple midi wrapper, however it only goes one way no matter which way I turn the wheel.
