Beginners guide to midi mapping - does this exist? Posted on: 17.07.2013 by Logan Lassey Hi all,I have been searching online for a guide to explain midi mapping to me, but I have not found anything helpful. I am not looking for anything specific to any one controller, but more a general guide so I can understand the principals of it. I have lots of basic questions, for example, what is the difference between "note" "cc" and "bend" ? Stuff like that. Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks, P | |

Brunilda Kora 17.07.2013 | Sounds like you're lookiing more for a guide to General midi, than Midi Mapping. They're (kinda) two different things... Try the DJTT Blog for Traktor Mapping Guides. Try these for Midi: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MIDI And these for Midi Mapping (in Traktor): https://www.digitaljockey.it/dij/ind...mid=45&lang=en https://www.digitaljockey.it/dij/ind...mid=45&lang=en https://www.digitaljockey.it/dij/ind...mid=45&lang=en I found the ones above yesterday and found them quite useful. If you find any more, even MORE basic guides to Midi Mapping in Traktor, let me know! |
