The Big Thread Of Recommended Music
The Big Thread Of Recommended Music Posted on: 15.03.2011 by Jacque Divinity Hey there TechTooler's,Welcome to my latest instalment of "The Big Thread Of" threads.... Recommended Music. Every so often our community members pop up asking our community the question of recommend me some *insert genre here*. I have dug deep into the archives and searched high and low to compile my list related threads and chatter, so I hope you all enjoy it! It's always good to have a browse through the old music threads for some inspiration when things get stale behind the decks! If anyone has any other threads that I have missed out on, please feel free to add them below. ---------------------------------------- In no particular order.. Glitch Hop / Trip Hop Disco / Funk Dark Tech House/Minimal Chicago House Electro House Grime Dubstep Psytrance 1 / 2 Funk Mash-Ups Drum 'n Bass 1 / 2 Boogie Funk (post disco) ....and now for some themed music selections Offensive/Vulgar/Sexual Themed Spring Break Themed Horror Themed Drug Themed Japanese Electro/Cosplay Themed Cinco De Mayo Pool Party Music That wraps it up for now.. There were a few other related threads but either didn't survive more than a post or two, or were similar to others and had the same links/artists as another so they were omitted from my list. | |

Christiana Ercolani 01.02.2013 | Yeah - and by paying for it I'd be assured it's of the highest quality! You're right, the random EQ cuts are interestingly-timed. But as he's one half a little group called Daft Punk, I'm going to assume he knows what he's doing haha |
Brenna Welbes 31.01.2013 | By legitimate, you mean that you want to pay for it? Don't know about that but I found tons of them on mooslo. Track really does have a great hook and sound to it. But whats with all the seemingly random frequency cuts, etc? There's no timing to it, and it's not even on the beat. It's like he's just randomly cutting frequencies by turning EQ knobs. Reminds me of one of those DJ's who loves to ruin perfectly good music... Ok, I'm done. Seriously though, it does have a dope sound to it. I'm considering using it, but it would require some cue juggling to fix it. For me, at least... |
Christiana Ercolani 31.01.2013 | Does anyone know where I can cop a legitimate version of "Club Soda" by Thomas Bangalter?? Track is so dope, but I can only find sketchy web sites hosting it. So this is kind of a recommendation as well as an inquiry.. |
Lizabeth Leppin 08.01.2013 | This new Kid Massive track is pretty dope, esp. the remix |
Bunny Sockel 14.12.2012 | Really good remix of the city http://www.beatport.com/release/the-...-remix/1007838 |
