Why arent there any sample button mappings?
Posted on: 17.04.2011 by Brinda Sirman
I hear of a lot of people believeing the sample buttons on the s4 arent super useful and they stick to 4 track config. Im kind of a noob my self but im curious why i havent seen any tp2 mappings to make the sample buttons crontrol effects or do other fun things. Couldnt those buttons end up doing those great beat rolls and other things if mapped correctly. People could save money and not buy a midi fighter and map those buttons. I could be totally wrong here and someone couldve already came out with these mappings, but i dont use the sample decks really and am curious now what i can do with them instead. Any oppinions on this matter?

Where can I find these midi maps and are they for tp2?

That is because you can use it to regain 5-8 hotcues or beatjumps within the default map. If all you want is loop rolls, jump to MIDI and assign them, then jump back and keep playing. There are some crazy midi maps around already.
