Latency, Slow Ram, External Hard-Drive Posted on: 16.04.2011 by Lacy Contrino So I keep getting Audio Dropouts with my S4 and I've tried all the different combinations to reduce the amount of latency and still have audio dropouts.I have a okay PC and all its just I have really slow RAM speed. Can I buy and external hard drive to make this happen. I'm trying to avoid spending another 1000 dollars on a computer. Please give me your two cents. Thank you | |

Bridget Liner 21.04.2011 | Hard drive space and RAM are two separate issues. Unless you are very low on space on your PC adding an external hard drive won't improve anything. How much RAM do you have? Also, there's a ton of threads/posts on this. Things that I found helped included using A/C power and disabling the battery and also disabling wifi on the laptop. Good luck! |
